Yes, I have played a good bit on one of the progression servers a while back. However, my schedule over the past few months has been insane and I put it aside. HOWEVER>>>

The new Project 1999: GREEN server is about to launch. The is a fan done, and dev approved server, that will release as the real original game. It will be updated and patched just as the original was done. I actually came here to post about it. I may look into it.

For those that don't know, you can get EQ on Steam now. The download is free. I THINK this new server is free as well. But I don't know that for sure.
