Sad only in the world we once visited... Due to a recent graphics card failure I had to find games I could run without heavy 3d acceleration as my spare card really was not able to play anything modern and I thought of UO.

I logged in to check out our old buildings on the Great Lakes server and alas, the Keep and Library are gone, new buildings in their place. It looks like the BH tower is gone too. Not sure how long it has been like this though I recall logging in a few years ago and everything was still standing.

This is slightly surprising as we had understood that these buildings were owned by Argamemmnon who was supposed to have had a lifelong account due to having been a Counselor. Perhaps Mythic thought they need to clear these areas for active players and not locked buildings that no one ever can visit. Fair enough. But sad to see our old home gone despite our best attempt to make it "eternal". :(

At least my character still exists though.
