HOWDY all, Hi Fal. Sorry for the delayed reponse. I've not been checking the Pub very frequently these days. It's good to have the occasional visitor though. Apart from my work on Vanguard I'm really not playing MMOs anymore. I rarely even get into SotA these days. Over the holidays I purchased two games that were different/simple. One was Cuphead. I got that mainly because it was a very beautifully done game. The music and graphics look just like an old fashioned cartoon. I will likely never be able to finish it because it is a very difficult game. Of course that isn't saying much as I am not sure I've "finished" any game I've bought in the past 20 years. :) I enjoy playing it as well as I can though. The other game I got was an even simpler game called Human Fall Flat. This was a puzzle game reminiscent of Portal but in a different environment. You get to solve physical puzzles to finish each level. The one complaint most have had is that they do not have enough content. I would agree as I've finished all of the levels already (I guess that breaks my 20 year streak) and I'm working through all of the achievements. But it is a fun game for me to play when I can. I hope they come out with more levels sometime eventually but it's a slightly old game (almost 5 years old now) so I'm not holding my breath. The guys working on Vanguard keep talking about Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. I'm not feeling a draw to this even though it's supposed to be the spiritual successor of Vanguard and Everquest 1. I'll have to keep an eye on it to see though. Maybe EF can make that an active realm. :) Hubert Still all over the place after all these years |
